Suspect in Nob Hill Crimes Held Without Bail
Record shows string of arrests, warrants

Residents are breathing a sigh of relief after a man suspected of committing a slew of crimes in the Nob Hill area was recently booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center to await trial in Second Judicial District Court.
Noel Pastor Cacho, 28, is alleged to have assaulted at least two women in Nob Hill last year in addition to other violations. It was on Oct. 16 when Jasmine Mah filed a police report after she said a man, who she would later identify as Cacho, smashed the driver’s side window of her vehicle with a skateboard at Grand and Solano while she was on the way to the grocery store with her grandmother and baby. Mah said the incident made her feel unsafe in her neighborhood.
About a month later, on Nov. 14, Nob Hill couple Chris Conard and Natalie Foster filed a police report after Foster was assaulted while on her morning run near Aliso and Copper. Foster said a man, who she later identified as Cacho, chased her on his bicycle before attacking her. She sustained severe injuries—including bruises, two lip lacerations and a wound that required eight staples in her head.
