Main Street readies for Route 66 Centennial launch

Chris Smith has been a fixture in Nob Hill for decades. He bought his first Albuquerque home there in the early 2000s and has assets in the district as a real estate broker and property manager. A past president of the Nob Hill Neighborhood Association, Smith’s also been a part of Nob Hill Main Street since its inception in 2009.
As president of the Main Street board, he’s become known as the lynchpin when it comes to pulling off Nob Hill’s unique events.
There are popular ones to brag about, from Mural Fest to the holiday-themed Twinkle Light Parade and Shop & Stroll, the (just past) annual Pride Parade, and for foodies and beer and wine aficionados, Taste of Nob Hill is a favorite during the warmer months.
